Image is everything...

There use to be a commercial with Andre Agassi, I think it was for Cannon Camera's. At the end of the commercial he would say "Image is everything". I wonder how many believe this?

I mean what goes through your mind when you hear this? What image do you think about? I know for me it was someone of importance, someone that had money, someone that had power, someone that looked good, I could go on and on. I afraid that is what a lot of people thought.

I now no longer think of those things when I hear "Image is everything". I have come to realize that God uses truth everywhere. No matter what the circumstance is or how the truth is said or how you see it or how you receive it. God uses truth. You have to understand that if it's true... It's true. Make sense?

I'll use this commercial for instance "Image is everything". This is true. "Image is everything", but now how I viewed it and not how the securlar world views it. It doesn't matter your title, what you drive, what you wear, how you talk, where you live, where you work, etc. The truth in "Image is everything" is found early in the Bible. It says "we" were made in God's Image.... That is the amazing truth in this, that yes Image matters... God's Image.

I wonder if I could keep that so close to my heart that it became true in my life. That I would start to "mirror" HIS image in my actions, in my thoughts, in my words and in my life. How different would life be for those around me. I know at times I find myself doing some of this, but it's not true more times then I would like to admit.

God please keep this truth close to me so that I may reveal this to others. Help me with the true Image... YOUR Image. Amen.
